3D Modelling

I used 3Ds Max to 10 models and then a short rendered video using particles

During my second year of university, I have learnt how to 3D model properly for games development. I personally prefer to just use the IDEs to hard code or to place assets in a virtual world like in previous projects but modelling will expand my skill set.

For Part 1, I had to create a scene with 5 objects so decided to go with an old style detectives office. I made a door as my first object so that I could make progress early into the term with a simpler model and then created the rest when i got better. I added 2 light sources. the general skylight and also a point light out of the lamp.

For Part 2, I had to create 5 more objects to create a 20 second long scene with animation and particles. I added a gun, a bin, some blinds, a clock and a ceiling fan. These new objects also gave me opportunities to add further animation to the scene as the fan could spin the clock could accurately keep time
